Larisa Dannis is an ultra runner living in Mill Valley, CA.  She is originally from New Hampshire, and did not take a conventional path to running. About five and a half years ago, she had become out of shape and decided to take up hiking to stay fit.  Eventually, her hikes turned into runs and she started entering ultra races.    Her breakout run came from the 2014 Western States 100-Mile Endurance run where she was the second female finisher.  Here, Dannis and fellow Hoka runner Magdalena Boulet lead us on a run on the historic Dipsea trail, which begins in Dannis’ city of residence, Mill Valley, CA.
